Reginald B. Henderson is Senior Vice President – Talent Management at Lowe’s Companies, Inc. In his role as a senior executive in Human Resources, Reginald leads strategic workforce planning and talent strategies to provide Lowe’s with the right skills and capabilities to compete in a rapidly changing retail environment. He heads Diversity & Inclusion, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Organizational Development.
Reginald formerly served as Vice President – Associate General Counsel for Lowe’s and has more than 18 years of experience leading the creation and delivery of legal strategy to meet key business needs. During his 10 years with Lowe’s legal department, Reginald led the Commercial Law Practice Group and the Employment Law Practice Group. As part of his Employment Law role, Reginald was integral in providing leadership, direction, and guidance to ensure Lowe’s compliance with human resources and employment laws. In 2015, he was named one of Savoy’s “Most Influential Black Lawyers.”
Prior to Lowe’s, Reginald held several leadership positions at BNSF Railway Company, The Watkins Law Office, and the U.S. Dept. of Labor, where he led human resources compliance, equal opportunity, and internal investigation functions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in politics from Hendrix College, a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in labor and employment from Georgetown University.
In his spare time, Reginald enjoys traveling worldwide, hiking, playing the piano and volunteering as a Director on the Board of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.
