John Connaughton
Professor of Economics
John Connaughton is director of the Carolina Economic Forecast. Published quarterly, the Forecast reviews North Carolina’s economic performance and estimates the state’s future growth. Connaughton joined the faculty in 1978. He has a bachelor’s degree from Boston State College and a masters and Ph.D. from Northeastern University.
