The Belk College offers three graduate degrees and participates in a number of interdisciplinary graduate programs with other colleges at UNC Charlotte.

Ph.D. in Business Administration

The Belk College began offering a Ph.D. in business administration, with a major in finance, in Fall 2006. The program is research-oriented, designed to prepare graduates for academic teaching and research careers. Graduates will be qualified for tenure-track professor positions at both national and international teaching universities and other educational institutions. Sports MBA

The Belk College will begin offering an MBA in Sports Marketing and Management in the Fall of 2007. This highly selective two-year, full-time program includes a six-month internship working in the sports industry.  The curriculum will consist of traditional MBA classes to enhance students' business and management skills, along with specific courses in team sports, individual sports/events management, or motorsports. Master of Accountancy

The Master of Accountancy degree is a multiple-track program designed to prepare accountants for the rapidly-changing expectations of the profession. Master of Science in Mathematical Finance

The Master of Science in Mathematical Finance program is designed to prepare students to pursue careers in finance. Increasingly, financial institutions, investment banks, and commodities firms rely upon highly sophisticated mathematical models to identify, measure, and manage risk. The advent of these models has triggered the emergence of a new discipline, Mathematical Finance, which requires professionals with extensive skills in both finance and mathematics.

The Mathematical Finance program is a joint program of the Departments of Finance and Economics in the Belk College of Business and the Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences.
