Executive Education features “Inside the Box” Innovation with author Dr. Jacob Goldenberg

Thursday, November 6, 2014

UNC Charlotte Executive Education will feature “Inside the Box” Innovation with co-author Dr. Jacob Goldenberg on Tuesday, November 18 at UNC Charlotte’s Center City campus.

In this session, Dr. Goldenberg takes a counterintuitive approach to innovation than the traditional “inside the box” approach and believes that better and quicker innovation happens when you work inside your familiar world (inside the box).

Dr. Goldenberg will provide practical innovation techniques that he and his co-author, Drew Boyd, derived from research that form the basis for Systematic Inventive Thinking, or SIT, now used by hundreds of corporations throughout the world, including industry leaders such as Johnson & Johnson, GE, Proctor and Gamble , SAP and Phillips.

Jacob Goldenberg is co-author of Inside the Box: A Proven System of Creativity for Breakthrough Results, nominated for 2013 Innovation book of the year.  His work has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, BBC News, Herald Tribune, The Economist, and Wired magazine.
