ADMITTED STUDENTs: 

  • Are encouraged to explore campus through a number of both virtual and in-person visit experiences.
     
  • May attend a Belk College of Business presentation at one of four Admitted Students Weeks!  Please note: Admitted Students Day is NOT MANDATORY, nor does it take the place of Summer SOAR/orientation. You will NOT be registering for classes at this event. However, we invite you to join us for the academic preview session and to meet other future 49ers!
     
  • Must attend SOAR/orientation to enroll in courses for your first semester at UNC Charlotte and register with your Academic and Career Coach. 
     
  • Are initially classified as a Pre-Accounting (PACC), Pre-Business (PBUS), or Pre-Economics (PECO) major during their freshman and sophomore years. All business degrees are composed of: (1) General Education Requirements, (2) Progression Requirements, (3) Core Requirements, (4) Major Requirements, and (5) Electives. You will declare one of the Belk College of Business upper-level division majors after fulfilling and maintaining a GPA of 2.5 in progression requirements, earning a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and earning 60 credit hours. 

Laptop Policy

Beginning Fall 2020, all new students are required to have their own personal laptop computer.
