Belk Talks Business is a new virtual event series that features interviews and interactive engagement with Belk College alumni and business partners. The 60-minute series, created in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, is designed specifically for Business Niners with guests sharing insight on leadership, tips for success and other timely and relevant topics. Join us for inside knowledge, business connections, networking and Belk College door prizes!
The Dean's Leadership Series aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Belk College of Business and give back to the Charlotte community by welcoming distinguished guest speakers, executive business practitioners, and thought leaders who will share their insights and experiences regarding current challenges and future opportunities facing our business community.
The CEO Speaker Series features alumni and friends of the college who are in leadership positions (at the level of CEO, partner, chairman, etc.). The series brings business leaders to the UNC Charlotte campus to present to and interact with undergraduate and graduate students.
In-person alumni events are anticipated to return in fall 2021.
Belk College Day
Belk College Day is an annual event hosted in the fall by our Alumni Council for Belk College alumni of all ages as well as their families. Alumni enjoy food, beverages, music, and family friendly activities at a pre-game tailgate party before a 49er's football game.
Days of Service
Belk College Days of Service connect alumni and students through hands-on service. We hope you will join us to represent the Belk College in our Charlotte community as well as serve alongside fellow alumni, students, faculty, and staff. Choose one that fits your schedule and interests!
Alumni Coffee Series
The quarterly Alumni Coffee series is free and open to all Belk College alumni. Alumni coffees are hosted in March, June, September and December at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City directly preceding the UNC Charlotte Economic Forecast luncheon and presentation. Alumni are invited to network with Dean Jennifer Troyer and other special guests. Under the direction of Dr. John Connaughton, the Economic Forecast has provided invaluable economic data for North Carolina since 1981. Make plans to join us for the next Alumni Coffee. Bring a friend and expand the alumni network.
