Belk College Day is our annual family-friendly fall alumni event for all class years, majors and industries. Over 150 alumni and friends joined Dean Steven Ott and the Belk College Alumni Council for the fourth annual Belk College Day in the UNC Charlotte Alumni Tailgate Village presented by Food Lion and at the Charlotte 49ers football game against the Elon Pheonixes under the lights in Jerry Richardson Stadium on September 10, 2016.
Belk College alumni, family, faculty and friends enjoyed pre-game tailgating, an open buffet and bar, live DJ, the 49er Team Walk, appearances by athletic coaches, a bounce house and games for all ages inside the Hauser Alumni Pavilion at the Alumni Tailgate Village. Registrants were seated together at the game and received a complimentary Belk College day souvenir.
Belk College Alumni Council Chair Anne Bateman '08 delivered the game ball to the officials at midfield before kick-off, and Alumni Council member and donor, Harvey Brown '78, was honored on the field at half time for endowing a scholarship in the Belk College of Business.
