ON BEING THE MBA ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
I love meeting with prospective MBA students and getting to learn about their past experiences and aspirations for the future. I enjoy helping them to understand how an MBA can make them more professionally competitive and increase their capacity to achieve their goals.
MY ADVICE TO STUDENTS
The top piece of advice for those who are considering an MBA is don't delay. There will never be a perfect or right time, as there will always be competing priorities (work, family, community involvements, etc.) that must be managed. In my experience, the more a student procrastinates, the more challenging it becomes to put action to your aspirations. Enrolling in an MBA program typically takes months of advanced planning. Regardless of your timeline, the best time to begin the process is now.
WHY CONSIDER THE BELK COLLEGE MBA
We do not believe in taking a one-size-fits-all approach to the MBA. Our program offers a high degree of flexibility which allows students to create an MBA experience that aligns with their needs and aspirations. Regardless of where you have been in your career or where you would like to go, I believe that we can tailor our MBA program to help you make the most of your professional journey.
I am a native Arkansan, but I have fallen in love with the Queen City since relocating to the Carolinas in 2014. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, college football (Woo Pig), action movies, learning about history and listening to the sweet sounds of Louis Armstrong. I also enjoy pulling the occasional well-planned prank.
