(Lorna) Renée Franklin Hill joined the Belk College of Business faculty as a part-time instructor in January of 2021.  Prior to this time Renee Hill served in a number of administrative and faculty positions over a combined twenty-four year tenure at North Carolina Central University School of Law and Charlotte School of Law.  She has taught many courses in the law school curriculum including Torts, Contracts, Business Association, Professional Responsibility, Administrative Law, Remedies and Legal Writing.  Prior to her academic career, Renee Hill served as a project administrator for North Carolina’s Administrative Office of the Courts Guardian ad Litem program and as an Assistant Bar Counsel in the DC Office of Bar Counsel. Renee Hill has worked as an associate for several law firms including firms in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, California and Charlotte, North Carolina.  She is currently a Real Estate Broker/Agent in NC and SC.  Throughout her career, Renee Hill has been active in many legal associations and community groups including serving as a member of the North Carolina State Bar’s Continuing Legal Education and Ethics Committees.
