On being the M.S. in management Assistant Director:

I love connecting with people, learning about their dreams, and working with them to help achieve them! This is what I do in my position. I connect students to the possibilities that are open to them, and hope that means them becoming students of the M.S. in Management program. I believe that my role plays a large part in students’ lives and their futures and I’m excited to be along for the ride!

My advice to students:

My piece of advice for students is to make every moment count. You never know who you will meet and which small opportunities will make a large impact later. Additionally, life, in general, allows you to get out of it what you put in. Maximize the opportunities you have and you will be on the road to success.

Why consider an M.S. in Management:

I support the M.S. in Management program because I believe in it. I wish that there was a program like this when I was graduating from my undergraduate experience. Business is connected to everything you do–so why not connect your, seemingly unrelated, passion to a knowledge of the business world and it’s processes? I believe that this acumen coupled with passion and drive ignites innovation in our communities and evolves our society in many ways. Our world moves quickly and I believe this program is the next step in allowing the business world to stay on pace.

About me:

My favorite things to do when I have free time are travel, explore my city, and go on hikes. I enjoy nature and trying new things so I’m always up for an adventure. I’d love to hear any recommendations people have about cool things in the area and have a Charlotte bucket list that keeps growing! And I have to say, I do love the Queen City!
