The Belk College of Business, Barings and the Charlotte Business Journal are partnering for a Mid-Year Economic Update covering the North Carolina and U.S. economics and financial updates and perspectives at the new Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel in Charlotte. NOTE: This is a special event in place of the Economic Forecast this quarter.
The program begins with a keynote presentation by Dr. John Connaughton, Barings Professor of Financial Economics, Belk College of Business, UNC Charlotte, followed by a conversation with prominent business leaders, Roger W. Ferguson, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer, TIAA, and Tom Finke, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Barings, moderated by Dr. Steven Ott, Dean, Belk College of Business, UNC Charlotte .
After the formal program, attendees will have an opportunity to network and enjoy cocktails and hors d'ouevres.
