Belk College economist Dr. John Connaughton presents his quarterly forecast about the North Carolina economy at a luncheon and press conference on September 12 at UNC Charlotte Center City (320 E. 9th Street).
Connaughton's presentation begins at noon in the Auditorium of Center City on the second floor. Lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Connaughton, Barings professor of financial economics in the Belk College of Business, is a highly-regarded expert on regional economics and has closely monitored the North Carolina economy for more than 30 years. His quarterly report, sponsored by Barings, addresses areas of optimism and concern among the state's economic sectors, considers national and global factors affecting the state economy and forecasts future performance and job growth.
The Forecast presentation is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and advanced reservations are required.
