In your opinion, what are the 3 best things about UNC Charlotte?
One would have to be the connections throughout the community and all the resources available. Another is the reputation of the university around the Charlotte area and the support it receives from alumni, fans, and other people who care about the university. Lastly, the people that are here at the university. From the professors, to students and faculty, everyone cares about the university and wishes to see UNC Charlotte become a great university to attend.

Where is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus would probably be the baseball field just because I spend majority of my time there. It is my place to get away from everything and just enjoy doing something I love.

What is your favorite Charlotte restaurant?
Vapiano

What was your favorite class that you have taken and why?
The Creativity and Innovation class with Professor Fox. This class was different from most of the other classes I took. It was very interesting in the sense that you had to step back from a textbook aspect and be more creative. There were multiple projects dealing with innovation and developing new and creative products. I believed it helped me develop a new way of thinking and become more creative as a marketer.

Tell us 3 random things about yourself.
I love riding jet skis.

My favorite food is chicken alfredo.

My dream is to go to space.

Why did you choose the Belk College of Business/UNC Charlotte?

I initially chose UNC Charlotte for baseball and was not sure on what I was going to study. To begin with, I was undeclared and in the university college. After talking to many people and getting advice about the Belk College of Business, I decided a business degree would be valuable to have in a city like Charlotte.

What activities were you involved in when not working or studying?

I’ve been a member of the baseball team for the past four years and haven’t had much time to do anything else. However, baseball has offered me many opportunities such as participating in the Jeff Jansen Leadership Academy and completing community service projects.

What was the best part of your academic experience?

The best part of my academic experience has been this past semester completing the marketing consultancy project and being a finalist.

How would you describe the Belk College of Business to someone who is thinking about applying?

The Belk College is a great place to learn real-world skills in business situations while developing a better knowledge of all aspects of business.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to pursue a career in the marketing industry while keeping an open mind to different opportunities.
