Where is your favorite place on campus?
The Atkins Library, simply because of the amount of time I’ve spent there.

What clubs and/or organizations were you involved in?
I was very involved with the UNC Charlotte Hillel group, which is a Jewish social and religious organization dedicated to achieving a meaningful community for Jewish students. I was also very involved with the Beta Alpha Psi honorary fraternity of accounting and finance students. Why did you choose the Belk College of Business/UNC Charlotte?

I chose the Belk College of Business primarily because of the College’s reputation here in the Carolinas. Many successful Belk College alumni go on to become the luminaries of the business world here in North Carolina and I wanted to also obtain that distinction. Furthermore, I believe that UNC Charlotte is strategically located in a leading city of commerce and business development. The close proximity to major business communities allows a tight relationship between those businesses and the University.

What activities were you involved in when not working/studying?

Outside of work and school, I am an avid reader who currently is in the middle of five different books. Finding leisure time to read can be difficult but it’s one of my favorite activities.

What was the best part of your academic experience?

Even after careful deliberation, I am unable to narrow down my favorite academic experiences. Simply finding my passion for the business world has been incredibly rewarding. I remember my first business courses at the University. I also remember admiring the upperclassmen and seniors who inspired me with their business knowledge and practical experience. However, as my academics reach completion, I find great fulfillment in encouraging a newer wave of students to find their unique business ambitions. Most importantly, I believe that the relationships one makes with fellow students and faculty member are more valuable than the degree one receives. It has been a privilege learning from the Belk College of Business faculty and the camaraderie with my fellow aspiring business majors has thoroughly motivated me.

How would you describe the Belk College of Business to someone who is thinking about applying?

The Belk College of Business is a top choice for business students in the Carolinas and definitely worth serious consideration.
