Belk College Updates by Program

Undergraduate Programs and Niblock Student Center

The Niblock Student Center continues to provide support services, just in alternate formats. Academic & Career Coaching and Peer Advisor appointments will be conducted virtually through Google Meet. You will be emailed further communication on how to login to the appointment time. Please continue to schedule appointments through connect.uncc.edu, but be aware of this virtual format.

Drop-in appointments will continue to be available during the following times via phone. To be placed in the virtual drop-in queue, please complete this form and be sure to include an appropriate call back number. The next available drop-in Academic & Career Coach will call you to answer your questions. If you fill out the drop-in form outside of normal drop-in hours, you will be contacted during the next available drop-in shift.

Belk College Office of Graduate Programs

The Belk College Office of Graduate Programs is operating virtually and processing applications. If you need assistance scheduling an appointment, please call the Belk College of Business Office of Graduate Admissions at 704‑687‑7566.

The Belk College is committed to our community, including future students. Due to the impacts of COVID-19, several master’s degree programs are temporarily waiving the GMAT/GRE test requirement for the Spring 2021 semester. Additional program-specific information is available by visiting the program website.

Events hosted by the Graduate Programs Career & Professional Development team will be offered in an alternate format, as possible. Visit the Career Development webpage for more information on services and upcoming events.

Belk College Events and Programming

  • Fall events: The Belk College will offer a robust schedule of online community events and programming. New for fall is the Dean's Leadership Series, which will be presented monthly starting on September 28.
  • Podcast Series: The Belk College recently launched Charlotte Business Buzz, a podcast series that is pooling the resources and partners of UNC Charlotte to help Queen City businesses weather the financial storm brought on by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The podcast is available through all major podcast platforms.
  • Many student training events, information sessions and community-wide events are available online. View and register through the online events calendar.

 

Belk College Alumni 

  • Belk Talks Business is a new virtual event series that features interviews and interactive engagement with Belk College alumni and business partners. The 60-minute series, created in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, is designed specifically for Business Niners with guests sharing insight on leadership, tips for success and other timely and relevant topics. Join us for inside knowledge, business connections, networking and Belk College door prizes.
