Lloyd Blenman, professor of finance in the Belk College of Business, has been elected president of the Midwest Finance Association, the second oldest academic finance association in North America.
Blenman, who joined the UNC Charlotte faculty in 1999, holds a Ph.D. from Ohio State University. His work has been published in Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and other leading journals. He is serves as vice president of the Midwest Finance Education Foundation and is associate editor of the Financial Review.
