Kevin Zhou, the Reese Distinguished Scholar in International Business in the Department of Marketing of the Belk College of Business, and his co-author, Laura Poppo (University of Kansas), recently returned from a conference at Harvard University where they received theManagement and Organization Review (MOR) China Goes Global Best Paper award for 2008. More than 100 faculty from 28 countries and 50 universities participated in the conference on the Globalization of Chinese Enterprises, where Drs. Zhou and Poppo presented their research “Exchange Hazard, Trust, and Contracts in China: The Contingent Role of Legal Enforceability.” China Goes Global is a collaborative research initiative of American and European universities.
