The mission of the Department of Marketing at UNC Charlotte is to provide an intellectually challenging educational program that will develop marketing and other business students as ethical and competent managers and leaders; to conduct and publish research that will contribute significantly to knowledge and understanding of marketing; and to reach out to the community and region through continuing education, applied research, service, and consulting activities.
The focus of the department’s educational program is experiential learning and teaching excellence in a caring environment.
