The Belk College of Business will offer three faculty-led opportunities to travel across the globe this summer, with focuses in banking and finance, international business management, and strategic management.

International Business Management, Business in Italy and the EU

Travel dates: June 3 - 24, 2022

Application deadline: March 1, 2022

The program involves travel to and residency in Florence in the middle of the Tuscany region of Italy. Florence will serve as the base of operations as students explore the culture and business climate of Tuscany, Italy, and Europe in general. This program features organized group trips to Sienna, Assisi, Orvieto, and Venice, as well as time for individual travel during the program.

The academic portion of the program includes International Business Management (MGMT 3275) and Business in Italy and the EU (IBUS 3000). Both courses focus on international aspects of business management in general and will specifically address issues within the European context. Both courses count toward the International Business major and the International Management minor and are taught by UNC Charlotte faculty.
