Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)

UNC Charlotte is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees. UNC Charlotte also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. The University of North Carolina at Charlotte was reaffirmed by SACSCOC for the next ten years. The decision was made at the December 2023 Annual Meeting of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)

UNC Charlotte was the first university in the Charlotte region to earn accreditation by AACSB International, and has now held that distinction for more than 30 years.
