Advice to Students

  • Use your voice. Never be afraid to ask questions, as your question might be the one needed to spark a new discovery. Understand that everyone had to start somewhere and that it is okay to not know everything. Lean on your support system and they will guide you in the right direction.

About Me

  • I am from Columbia, S.C., but often refer to the Charlotte area as my second home. I enjoy anything beauty-related, crime documentaries and trying new restaurants. My experience as a first-year college student has driven my passion for student success and overall student development. I am currently working on my dissertation which is centered on the experiences of Black women former student-athletes as they transition away from collegiate sports. I am excited to join the advising team and looking forward to meeting with students.
