Alumni & Student Professional Development: Decision Making

September 12, 2019 - 10:30 AM to September 13, 2019 - 10:59 AM

The Belk College of Business invites alumni and graduate students to a professional development session on leadership development facilitated by Jennifer Ames Stuart, Associate Dean of Graduate and Executive Programs.

UNC Charlotte Center City

320 E 9th Street
Charlotte, NC 28202

Program Description:

The New Science of Decision Making: The ability to think critically, exercise good judgment and make quick decisions is a leadership imperative. Throughout a typical workday, a leader will have to interpret extensive and varied sources of information and use them to make the best decisions possible - a skill that differentiates highly successful leaders. During this short talk, participants will be introduced to decision making approaches and the most common types of cognitive biases that pervade - and often constrain - our decisions.

The session is complimentary, though your online registration is appreciated by Friday, September 6.  Be sure to register for the Alumni Coffee and Economic Forecast as well!
