In this panel, we concentrate on how men can and should be part of the solution. To fix gender inequality, all of us need to be on board. Despite significant gender progress since the mid-1960s, progress on key economic measures have slowed or stalled, or in some cases even reversed, over the last twenty-five years for women, particularly for women of color. The panel will discuss current workplace inequality patterns and share a set of actionable items men can do to help promote gender equality. Many organizations have women-focused or DEI groups and events surrounding gender equality that are often widely attended by diverse groups of women. What is missing in most organizations are specific conversations on how to call men into these issues.
