Belk College graduates Anne Bradley and David Hauser were winners in their respective categories in the Charlotte Business Journal's first CFO of the Year Award andwere recognized at a July 28luncheon.
Anneis a 1995 graduate with a B.S. in accounting. She owns and operates her own firm, Anne L. Bradley CPA, which offers outsourced CFO duties to companies. Anne was the winner in the Small Private Company category.
David is a 1978 graduate of the Belk College M.B.A. program. When nominated, he was CFO of Duke Energy Company and was the winner in the Large Public Company category. David left Duke Energy in July to become CEO of FairPoint Communications.
Two other individuals with UNC Charlotte ties - alumnus David DeVane and university vice chancellor Beth Hardin - were finalists in their categories.
