Belk College advisory board members participate in CFO summit

Belk College M.B.A. alumnus and advisory board member David Hauser, chief financial officer at Duke Energy Corp., was one of four CFOs who recently participated in a roundtable discussion sponsored by the Charlotte chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI).

Hauser, along with the CFOs of National Gypsum, Lance Inc. and Compass Group North America, answered questions about the current economic crisis, the condition of financial and credit markets and the outlook for the future. More than 100 business leaders attended the program.

The panel was moderated by Charley McNealy, managing partner at BDO Seidman, who is also a member of the Belk College's Business Advisory Council.

The Belk College recently partnered withthe Charlotte chapter of FEI as a gold sponsor, becoming the first business school to partner with a chapter of the national professional organization for senior finance executives.
