A monograph by Dr. Nabil Elias (Accounting) on Customer Profitability Management has been published by the Institute for Management Accounting, which willdistribute the paper toCFOs of all the Fortune 500 corporations.
Dr. Elias's co-author is Dan Hill,vice president of CorePROFIT Solutions Inc.
"The Department of Accounting congratulatesNabil and Dan for their important contribution to the management accounting practice," said Dr. Jack Cathey, interim department chair.
Dr. Elias joined the Belk College faculty in 2001. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and has been designated a Fellow Certified Management Accountant (FCMA, Canada) in recognition of his contributions to the accounting profession. Dr. Elias teaches in the Belk College's Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program as well as the M.B.A. programs in Charlotte, Asia and Mexico.
