MBA program plans spring break tour of Chile

The UNC Charlotte M.B.A. program is collaborating with Vertical S.A., a Chilean education and leadership-development company, to offer a spring break tour of Chile for M.B.A. students in 2007.

The study tour will take place March 2 - 11, 2007 and will include stops in Santiago and San Pedro. In addition to participating in leadership workshops andbusiness-case reviews, students will explore Chile's natural wonders through camping, mountaineering,archaeological visits andmountain biking.

The cost of the trip is normally $3,000. The Belk College of Business and the M.B.A. Program will support 50% of a student’s cost for the trip, reducing the student's portion to$1,500 for the week.Covered expensesincludes airfare, hotel, food, activities, and travel within Chile.
