The Belk College's Student Center for Professional Development (SCPD) will host the first annual New Freshman Picnic on Friday, Aug. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the lawn between the Cato and Fretwell buildings on campus.
Freshmen will be admitted by wearing their Belk College t-shirts. The purpose of the picnic is to welcome the new freshman class and give them the opportunity to meet faculty and staff. To facilitate introductions and networking, the new students will be completing "BCOB Bingo" cards. Several business-student organizations will be in attendance to provide information and recruit new members.
