UNC Charlotte students win Target case-study competition

A group of UNC Charlotte students won a Target Case Study Competition in business communication in November.  The team used primary and secondary research to write a proposal and present it to Target store executives.

The case focused on possible ways to attract more cross-channel shoppers into Target;  shoppers who shop both online in-store generate more profit potential for Target than any other demographic.  The UNC Charlotte team's proposal was accepted over four other proposals, and they were awarded $1,500.  Target executives judged the competition based on each team's proposed strategies, and the quality of the team's written proposal and final presentation.  The winning team was awarded $1,500.

Members of the winning team, pictured L-R, are Michael Brust, Jacob Martin, Angela Rodriguez, and Reema Patel.
