UNC Charlotte ranked 33rd among 178 part-time MBA programs profiled in the ranking.

The Bloomberg Businessweek biennial ranking of part-time MBA programs is compiled based on a survey of recent graduates combined with an academic quality measure that considers average GMAT scores, class size, completion rates and an assessment of post-MBA outcomes. UNC Charlotte graduates lauded the program’s high degree of flexibility and 13 concentrations that allow students to customize their education experience and accomplish career goals.

“Recognition of our program as one of the leading part-time MBA programs in the country underscores the value of our students’ experience here,” says Dean Steve Ott. “This ranking is a reflection of the quality of students, faculty, graduate programs staff and alumni whose hard work and success embody UNC Charlotte’s MBA program.

Earlier in 2013 UNC Charlotte’s MBA program was named among the top 50 part-time programs in the nation, according to the 2014 edition of Best Graduate Schools by U.S. News Media Group. The school tied for 50th place among 325 part-time programs in the annual ranking, moving up five spots from last year.

Based at UNC Charlotte Center City, the University’s MBA program enrolls more than 300 students. UNC Charlotte’s MBA program offers the flexibility to complete the degree full-time in less than 17 months or part-time in as little as two years. With concentrations in such thriving industries as energy, commercial banking, real estate finance and business analytics, students can design an individualized program that realizes their professional goals.
