UNC Charlotte’s Part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program ranked No. 61 in the 2015 edition of Best Graduate Schools by U.S. News Media Group.  The ranking moves the program into the top 13 percent of all AACSB-accredited business programs nationwide.

UNC Charlotte tied for 61st place among 310 part-time programs in the annual ranking, moving up five spots from last year. The rankings are calculated based on responses by business school deans and MBA program directors, as well as students’ GMAT scores and average GRE quantitative and verbal scores, work experience, undergraduate grade point averages and the percentage of the business school’s part-time enrollment in the MBA program.  Other universities in UNC Charlotte’s tier include George Washington, North Carolina State, Pepperdine, the University of Houston and the University of Richmond.

"Recognition of our part-time MBA program as a top tier program demonstrates the value of our students’ experience in the Belk College of Business,” said Dean Steven Ott. “This ranking is a direct reflection of the quality of students, faculty, staff and alumni whose commitment embodies UNC Charlotte’s MBA program.”

Based at UNC Charlotte Center City, the University’s MBA program enrolls close to 300 students. In addition to the MBA, the Belk College of Business offers graduate degrees in accounting, economics, mathematical finance, real estate and will enroll its first class of students in the newly approved interdisciplinary professional science master’s program in data science and business analytics.
