Entrepreneur of the Year honorees include Belk College alumnus, advisory board member

Ernst & Young recently hosted its Entrepreneur of the Year program for the Carolinas, and two individuals with ties to the Belk College were honored.

Frank Spencer, president and CEO of Cogdell Spencer Inc., was the winner in the Real Estate and Construction category. Spencer is a member of the advisory board for the Center for Real Estate at UNC Charlotte.

The UNC Charlotte Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team won the annual SIFE regional competition March 16 for the sixth consecutive year. The competition,held in Charlotte,served as a preliminary competition for SIFE Nationals.
